Day 1:
Arrival and Bush Flight to the Savannah
Evening:
- Join your first dinner under the stars, with the sounds of the bush all around. Retire to the campfire for relaxation, then off to your well appointed safari tent for nature-wrapped sleep.
Throughout your wedding travel, I’ll be there as your luxury elopement photographer, quietly capturing the feel of the moments throughout each of the days—for example, your arrival, your connection, and your first evening in this wild and beautiful place.
- Journey the remaining distance by safari truck – Arrive at camp and take it all in: a warm welcome from the staff & community, the landscape, the calm beauty of your adventure luxe lodging, a homebase that is an oasis in the sweeping plains.

- Begin in Nairobi, where I (Kate) will meet you to begin the journey! I will be your photographer AND on-the-ground wedding coordinator & travel concierge, all in one, for a seamless end-to-end-experience. (Fun fact - that's me in the images below!)
- Load into a private bush flight, which takes you into the heart of nature for your safari park wedding.
Day 2:
Safari & Down Time
Evening:
- Candlelit dinner and firelight stories to close the day. These small, simple moments across the day are part of the full story we’ll tell together through the images you’ll keep forever.
- A slow lunch and free time back at your lodge. Whether you're enjoying special amenities at your luxury bush camp, resting, or simply enjoying the view, the day is yours.
Afternoon:
Morning:
- Head out on an unforgettable private game drive at sunrise with your guide. The excitement of looking for - and then seeing - elephants, lions, giraffes, cheetahs, and more is truly amazing.
- Enjoy a private breakfast in the bush on your tour. I’ll be right there, documenting the whole experience quietly. Capturing the way you take it in together, and, creating gorgeous wildlife images you’ll be proud to show when you return home.
Day 3:
Your Safari Wedding Day
Evening:
- Toast your day with a sweetheart-style dinner under the stars and time by the fire back at your luxury safari camp. Relaxed and happy, your amazing elopement day has come to a close--and YES--you just were married on a safari! This is the kind of day of beauty, awe, and joy that you’ll return to again and again through the storytelling images in your heirloom album.
PRO TIP: We can also plan for your day opposite the above, giving you a gorgeous sunrise ceremony instead!
- Perhaps participate in some traditional Maasai wedding customs & afternoon meal as celebration leading into your vows experience
- Your safari wedding ceremony unfolds in an unforgettable spot on the savannah. I’ll be there documenting it all naturally—the emotion, the joy, the beauty, and the feeling of you two in this wide-open sky and space you’ve chosen.
- Celebrate with a bush reception (aka sundowner) and easygoing portraits. Whether it’s just the two of you or celebrating with your most treasured few, this unhurried time to let it all soak in will feel personal and grounded in the place around you as the sun becomes low in the sky.

- A relaxed morning at camp with time to sleep in and have a beautiful, relaxed breakfast.
- Then, you'll have time to get ready—finishing writing out your private vows to each other, and getting into your wedding attire together or separately, depending on what feels right.
Day 4:
A Hot Air Balloon Ride to Remember
Evening:
- A final celebratory dinner eases into the close of your safari wedding experience at the camp. I’ll be there, as always, quietly capturing the feeling and moments of the day from start to finish.
- Choose how to spend your day—game drives, wildlife experience, a visit to a local village, another unique experience provided by your selected lodge or local adventure partners, or, simply time to relax.
