My Ethos

Maximize EVERY opportunity, including TIME TO YOURSELF.

My prior 20 years as a corporate warrior burnished one belief:

If I was going to turn off my phone and take PTO, I was going to relish what came next.

Others can keep their mass-market resorts.

I would rather be island hopping on a small live-aboard vessel in the Whitsundays, dogsledding at an Arctic eco-lodge, chasing onsens (hotsprings) in Japan, or glamping on a glacier deep in Alaska.

My joy? Savoring immersive experiences in incredible off-the-beaten-path destinations around the globe.

It’s not done to impress: we simply work too hard and the world is too interesting to spend any unnecessary time surrounded by drywall.

A real problem solver and forecaster. The details she thinks of with plenty of back up plans is impressive.

Adventurous Portrait Session

-1- The workday ability to rally to a challenge, and...

-2- A secret-menu knowledge of a certain kind of travel.

These skills allow me to open doors for my clients that aren’t advertised on any website.

As a working photographer, my own exit from the traditional wedding industry was spurred by one clear realization:

I began crafting custom experiences for people who agreed.

... two destinations that are difficult to reach when trying to cram a wishlist into a single day.

Your wedding does not need to be a blur:
You can savor it so deeply you’ll close your eyes for the rest of your life and be right back there.

We found that multi-day immersion in moments, places, and ceremonies allowed SPACE FOR AWE AND REST ...

Couples are their most relaxed, amazed, and in love when their weddings aren’t a single-day gauntlet.

During these years, flexing across my "corporate" and "artist" brains, I (almost accidentally) honed two skill sets:

When I helped a couple welcome their loved ones to a private lodge ringed by the Chugach Mountains...

...Celebrate the next day with a hand-binding ceremony, chef's dinner + party with their treasured few...

...Then, venture out the final day to say private vows, explore by heli and toast with glacier water, then return back to them all for more fun and play...

I knew I was going to spend the rest of my career creating  & capturing these soulful moments under open skies.

So, my question (and advice) to you...

WHERE do you want to take your wedding?

Yes, it’s possible.

I’ll make sure of it.

let's Talk

By the time we met her we truly felt like we knew her and she was a part of our lives for years.
